1. In the first aspect, an ink conveying system for conveying ink to one or more print heads is provided. The system comprises:
2. A first ink tank having a first air port, a first ink port for connection to the outlet of the print head, an ink filling port for connection to the bulk ink supply source, and a first ink circulation port;
3. Second ink tank, the second ink tank has a second air port, a second ink port for connection to the print head inlet, and a second ink circulation port;
4. Main air line with air inlet and air outlet;
5. The first air line connecting the first air port to the main air line;
6. The second air line connecting the second air port to the main air line;
7. An air pump located in the main air line between the first air line and the second air line is configured to pump air from the air inlet to the air outlet;
8. The first airflow limiter positioned between the air inlet and the first air line;
9. A second airflow limiter positioned between the air outlet and the second air line;
10. Ink circulation pipeline connecting the first ink tank with the second ink tank; As well as
11. An ink pump positioned in the ink circulation line to pump ink from the first to the second ink tank.
